Vietnam- Ho Chi Minh Highway

We hired a car and driver from Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City. Had toyed for weeks with the idea of renting motorbikes to make the trip but ended up going with a car instead; will probably always regret the decision. We took 5 days for the trip, 3 days of driving and 2 overnight stops in Quy Nohn (a big mistake) and Nha Trang. Most of the drive we stayed inland on Hwy 14 in order to see the central highlands, which was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed a stop in Kon Tum to walk around a minority village, and Dalat, where we merely stopped for lunch, was our favorite point in the drive.
