With our departure date just around the corner, we're scrambling to get ready! It has been so much fun to work on details of our trip and begin formulating an idea of what we may do in each country. With that has also come itinerary changes (naturally), but nothing is finalized yet, so we'll wait to post until it's more definitive. Changing plans is our specialty!, which hopefully will make for a more flexible & rewarding trip... we are excited to meet people along the way and plan as we go.
We've created packing lists, shopped for gear, perused other travel blogs looking for tips or things we may have forgotten, and we've spent countless hours organizing various and sundry lists and documents. What we have yet to do is get in-shape! But that will come with time.
Also we are now preparing for a move to CT after our return to the US, because Carter was accepted to the surgical residency program! We could not be more excited to be officially New England-bound after our travels, but for now we're focusing on the trip.
